MyWard is a service operated by Forward Outreach Foundation, Inc., doing business as Seedlabs.
When a ward is registered on MyWard, the following member information is imported from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) system by authorized ward administrators:
Ward leaders may also record meeting notes, task assignments, and member spotlight information within the application.
Your information is used solely to support the operation of your local ward unit — to display member contact information, coordinate ministering, organize meetings and tasks, and send SMS notifications to ward leadership (see SMS section below).
We do not sell, rent, share, or use your information for advertising or marketing purposes.
MyWard may send SMS text messages to ward leaders who have opted in to receive notifications, including reminders about upcoming meetings and task due dates.
Message frequency varies based on your ward's schedule, typically 1–4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
To opt out at any time, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. You may also update preferences within the app or contact myward@seedlabs.org.
Ward administrators can view and manage all member data for their ward. Ward members with portal access can view a read-only member directory. Seedlabs staff may access data for technical support only. No member data is shared across ward units.
Your information is retained for as long as you are an active member of a ward using MyWard, or until you request removal. To request removal, contact myward@seedlabs.org.
MyWard stores data in a secured cloud database hosted in the United States. Access is protected by authentication and row-level security controls. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
MyWard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for account purposes. Member directory data may include minors as part of household records imported from LCR by authorized ward administrators.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
